About Qué te cuesta
Platform prices checked on September 13, 2026 · Meta’s rates verified on September 13, 2026The site answers one question with numbers you can check against the source: what it really costs a small business to talk to its customers on WhatsApp. That is two bills that are almost never shown together — what Meta charges per delivered message in each of its 38 markets, and what a shared-inbox platform charges per month — and the sum is what you actually pay. Most of the site is in Spanish, for small businesses in Latin America; the English pages cover the data itself.

Where the numbers come from
- Meta’s rates are read from its official pricing calculator and from the rate card it publishes for download; both readings must match market by market and cell by cell, or nothing is published. Last extraction: September 13, 2026 — 38 markets, and 47 in the rate card effective October 1, 2026.
- Platform prices are read from each vendor’s official pricing page, together with the small print the headline price hides: agent minimums, plans that exclude WhatsApp, add-ons billed apart. Last check: September 13, 2026.
- What cannot be verified is not published as an estimate. Every figure carries the date it was checked, and every change is logged with its date in cambios.
- The raw files are public, in JSON and CSV under CC BY 4.0, at quetecuesta.com/datos — free to download, cite and reuse, including commercially, with attribution.
How it is funded, and what that does to the ranking
Affiliate commissions: 3 of the 18 platforms pay one if you sign up through our link, and 15 pay nothing. Signing up through us does not change what you pay. The ranking is sorted by total monthly cost, computed with the same formula for all 18; no platform can pay for position or for a review, and the options that pay us nothing —including self-hosted open source and the free WhatsApp Business app— stay in the table and often win. Why the site has so many pages
There are 148 today. They are not written one by one: they are generated by programs from those same data files, which is why there is one per country, one per industry and one per platform-to-platform comparison. The point is that when Meta changes a rate or a vendor changes a plan, every page changes at once, with the new date, instead of leaving old numbers around.
What this domain was before 2026
If you arrived looking for something else: quetecuesta.com has existed since 2001 and had three earlier lives — a Panamanian news and classifieds portal (2001-2012), a classifieds site (2015) and a personal blog in English that was online until April 2025. None of it is related to this project, which started on August 30, 2026 with the domain already free. Old addresses are not redirected here, because they are not about the same subject; those captures live at the Internet Archive.
